Healthy Start, Inc. is proud to present the Cheryl Squire Flint Cultural Sensitivity Symposium on May 8, 2017 to the Pittsburgh community. The theme of our 14th annual symposium is Emotionally Unavailable – The Effects of Substance Abuse on Early Childhood Mental Health.

Our featured keynote speakers are Nancy E. Suchman, PhD. of Yale School of Medicine and Pittsburgh native Ayana Jordan, MD, PhD. also of Yale. Breakout sessions covering the topics of maternal addiction, exploring early childhood mental health, parent-child attachment, home visiting and nontraditional and community based approaches to treatment will also be held.

We hope you will join us May 8, 2017 at the Rivers Club for this day of learning and growth.
